Flying on the rocks was a one-week project focusing on telling stories through photographs.
In this collection, the focus was to convey the feeling I had while using these sneakers for trail running.
Using the sneaker in a somewhat unstable position gives lightweight and agile characteristics to the object while having the piece of rock underneath is referring to how the sneaker can conquer the rough surface of a natural trail.

I was excited to take on the challenge of this project and bring my own unique perspective to it. The goal was to create a series of images that would capture the essence of the sneakers, highlighting their lightness and agility as well as their ability to conquer rough terrain.
To do this, I decided to focus on controlled color and lighting in the studio, using a white background to really make the sneakers stand out. I experimented with different angles and compositions, playing with the placement of the sneakers and the rock to create a sense of movement and energy.
The result was a collection of striking, vibrant images that truly captured the spirit of the sneakers. From the bright pops of color to the dynamic compositions, each photograph in the series tells a story of adventure and athleticism.
